Ether J. - "I've just finished this course on Nebula and I can't praise it enough. I'm not a jazz player, but am a musician who performs in other genres. I've made learning jazz one of my top goals, but haven't made much progress. Most teachers focus on scales, chords, arpeggios, etc. I am so tired of these!! In this course, Aimee takes a musical approach by focusing on motifs. This is brilliant! I have learned so much from these lessons that I just had to write about them. I now have an approach that I can understand to do my own solos. Thank you Aimee! You are the best!"

On Coltrane's Untitled 11383 from the Both Directions At Once album, McCoy Tyner takes an epic solo that employs a technique I like to call "Anticipatory Pentatonics." Dive deep into my transcription and learn what makes McCoy Tyner one of the greatest pianist that has ever lived. Buy the album "Both Direction at Once - The Lost Album" here: https://amzn.to/2BvafW2

I'm so stoked to have my good friend, Steve Cotter come over for a few hours this morning for some good conversation, and swinging tunes! Steve's playing is so tasty and sophisticated, and you're going to love hearing what he has to say, as well as hearing him play. I took a trip to Levelland, TX a few weeks ago to teach a few clinics and perform a solo concert. The Video/Audio department there at South Plains College was amazing and put together this video of my concert. Much thanks to everyone for making it a great trip.
