I perform as often as I can all around LA and Orange Counties. Most often, I am playing solo piano and singing, but I also perform with my trio, my duo (called Skirt & Suit with Joshua Payne) and also with whoever asks me to join them, whenever they ask!
Some of my favorite local collaborators are Mike Scott, Shane Savala, Bruce Lett, Lyman Medieros, Steve Cotter, Kendall Kay, and I could go on and on.
I love to play and you can always find my gig dates on the “GIGS” tab of this site.

This is a Nolte Family Original! We each wrote some so it's a real one-of-a-kind and this holiday season, we wanted to put a little Chipmunk spin on it! Thanks to everyone who drew illustrations for the video. Watch for their names in the credits at the end, and watch to the very end for a hilarious surprise! Also, thanks to my boys who leant their lip synch talents to the video. Also, enjoy a free "transcription" of my VERY Chipmunky scat solo! Much Love from all of us and high fives from California!!
From my house...and the genius mind of Geoffrey Rayback...to you.

There are some...characters out there. Here are some of my best stories from gigs.
In 2013, I wrote this song about a dark time in my life. When I was 16 and he was 40, my music teacher pressured and pursued me, romantically and physically. He used music to make me fall in love with him and then tried very hard to take away my innocence. My teacher: someone who had power over me. And worse: my music teacher, someone who taught a subject so connected to feelings of love. Such a terrible place to be in, but thankfully, over a period of many months, I was able to fight off most of his advances.
Mike Scott and I sat down one morning to record a bit. Here's one of our favorites from that day - the Duke Ellington classic, "All Too Soon."
This was my video for Jam Of The Week on Facebook this week to celebrate one of my hero's birthdays...Mr. John Coltrane. I didn't have much time so I stopped and got a little crazy with this!
