San Francisco Bay Blues - Performance and Tutorial
I have loved this ever since I heard it on Eric Clapton's Unplugged album. This is a bluesy, folk-roots style of piano playing I am working on, trying to imitate the guitar picking styles of old masters like Merle Travis.

San Franscisco Bay Blues And Earthworks PM40 Closed Lid Test
I wanted to re-record my version of San Francisco Bay Blues, now that I am the proud owner of an Earthworks PM40 piano microphone, and I thought it would be a great song to try out singing and playing simultaneously, with the piano lid closed to minimize vocal bleed. There was plenty of bleed from the piano onto my AKG P220, but at least it was only one-way. Overall, it's a viable option for me when I want to record everything at once. (see also My New Favorite Thing! Earthworks PM40 Piano Mic Review And Test).
If you watched my performance video and wanted to learn how to play in this Jesse Fuller guitar-picking-cowboy-jazz kind of slippy slidy style, this is the tutorial for you! Let's get it! If you'd like to support me, you can do so here: https://paypal.me/aimn
